Gerty MacDogell meets her canine friends in a wooded location that must remain undisclosed (they break the local leash laws). They've formed a gang to combat common enemies. When the enemy is not near, the group dynamic sometimes breaks down into a pissing contest. Below, Gerty shares a daily accounting of life among the dogs:
DM's lucky: her owners let all the neighbor dogs hang out in their yard ... its a constant dogfest. DM's owners are always doing considerate things for people and pooches. I'm lucky to know DM and her people.

Don't hate me because I'm beautiful ... my hair is sleek and black ... I've got the lean body of a greyhound, the curled tail of a sled dog and the ever-alert personality of a border collie ... I'm all work and no play ... Once, I caught a squirrel ... don't ask what happened.
